The heart of our ministry is Good News: God loves the world so much that he gave his Son Jesus to deliver us from the terrible consequences of our sins. Jesus lived a perfect life as our substitute. He died on a cross to pay the price for our sins. Three days later he rose from the dead to give us life. What great news that is! There is nothing we need do or can do to win God's favor; his love and favor are free for all. All we can do is say, "Thank you, Lord!" That is what Christian life is--a life of joyful thanks to God for all his love--a life of joyful service to God and all his people.
